Sweden votes: early reports suggest good turnout

Polls have opened across Sweden, and early reports from The Daily reporters on the ground suggest turnout is good so far.  Our man in Uppsala says it is “quite good so far” but reports party workers remaining nervous.  Our man in Stockholm says its not going to be any clearer until much later this evening – almost 20% voted in advance and the people who vote on the day tend to vote in later afternoon after their lunch.  Going to be a long day for the swedes…

    Apparently some exit poll has the Right up but well within the MoE

  3. Yes – just posted on it. The mood from our contacts in Sweden is extremely low, but there is only a gap of 1.9% in the exit poll. Its going to be close…
